We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Accountant to take full ownership of our company’s financial operations. This role goes beyond bookkeeping — the ideal candidate will manage end-to-end accounting functions, implement robust financial controls, oversee tax compliance, and introduce automation to streamline processes.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Overseeing statutory filings, tax compliance, and liaising with auditors.
Designing and implementing efficient accounting systems and automated workflows.
Providing strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making.
Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CPA preferred).
Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or audit-focused role.
Strong understanding of taxation laws, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
Proven experience implementing or optimizing accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or ERP systems).
Demonstrated ability to automate and streamline finance workflows.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with C-level leadership
