Role Overview
We are looking for a Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own and optimize customer engagement across the entire lifecycle, from onboarding and activation to retention, loyalty, and reactivation.
This role focuses on driving growth through personalized, data-driven marketing campaigns that increase engagement, improve retention, and maximize customer lifetime value.
The ideal candidate understands customer behavior, segmentation, marketing automation, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Lifecycle Campaign Strategy
Design and execute lifecycle marketing strategies across email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging.
Build personalized journeys based on user behavior and lifecycle stage.
Align lifecycle campaigns with overall marketing and growth objectives.
Onboarding & Activation Marketing
Develop onboarding communication flows that drive early adoption and first-value moments.
Optimize welcome sequences and educational content.
Increase activation rates through targeted messaging.
Engagement & Retention Marketing
Create engagement campaigns to encourage repeat usage and feature adoption.
Develop loyalty and rewards programs to strengthen customer relationships.
Deliver personalized offers and value-driven messaging.
Reactivation & Win-back Campaigns
Design win-back campaigns to re-engage dormant users.
Use behavioral triggers to reintroduce value and incentives.
Continuously test and refine reactivation strategies.
Segmentation & Personalization
Develop dynamic customer segments based on behavior, demographics, and transaction patterns.
Implement personalization strategies that improve relevance and conversion.
Use lifecycle data to deliver the right message at the right time.
Performance Optimization & Analytics
Monitor campaign performance and lifecycle metrics.
Conduct A/B testing to optimize messaging, timing, and channels.
Track KPIs including retention, engagement, conversion, and customer lifetime value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product to drive feature adoption and usage.
Work with Customer Support to incorporate customer insights into messaging.
Collaborate with Brand & Content teams to ensure consistent voice and value delivery.
Requirements
3+ years experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing, or growth marketing.
Proven experience running automated marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of customer segmentation and personalization.
Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (Clevertap, Customer.io, Mailchimp, Intercom,etc).
Strong analytical and performance optimization skills.
